For the last twenty years, Bakari has thrived as a creative professional in Washington DC. He is proud of having used his talents in branding and design to advance progressive change in the world.
Prior to joining Chadderdon Lestingi Creative Strategies, Bakari supported the National Alliance of Forest Owners’ congressional advocacy campaign for sustainable forestry, leading to the formation of House and Senate Working Forest Caucuses. He also worked with the National Network to End Domestic Violence, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and several international humanitarian causes.
Bakari was born in Denver, raised in DC, and graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park. He enjoys weird art, obscure music, and watching kung-fu movies with his wife, Heather, and their two cats.
